Team Spotlight - Team Miss Molly
We first heard about the walk last year through researching arthritis online. We participated and had a wonderful time and we knew that we wanted to participate again in 2013. Our Team Name is TEAM MISS MOLLY. Our daughter, Molly, is the Team Captain. Molly, age six, was diagnosed just before the age of two with Juvenile Arthritis. We decided to form a team because the yearly Arthritis Walk has been a tremendously positive way for Molly to learn more about Juvenile Arthritis and meet other children dealing with issues similar to hers. Our team consists of numerous family and friends that signed up to join after hearing Molly’s story. We have been recruiting Team Members through emails, talking to friends, family, and colleagues. So far we have received positive responses. Our goal is to have a team of 30 people walking strong to support Molly. It will be hard to miss Team Miss Molly as we all plan on wearing RED in unity for Molly (her chosen color). To raise funds for our team Molly has done several lemonade stands over the year; she has helped bake cookies for bake sales and hosted a Pampered Chef fundraiser raising over $200 recently for the Walk!

TOGETHER WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
Thank you for participating in the 2013 Arthritis Walk®, the signature fundraising event for the Arthritis Foundation. Every year, people across the country move together to celebrate those who are making a positive impact on the lives of people living with arthritis.
More than just an event, Arthritis Walk® is a celebration of year-round movement. It is building awareness for this debilitating disease and raising necessary funds to drive arthritis research, education and life improvement programs; it also continues the Arthritis Foundation’s search to find a cure to the nation’s leading cause of disability.
Our mission is to improve lives through leadership in the prevention, control and cure of arthritis and related diseases. When you join us at the Arthritis Walk®, you're not moving alone -- you are becoming part of a community looking to achieve better health and change lives at the same time. We look forward to seeing you at the Arthritis Walk!
